International Nurse’s Day
On the International Nurse’s Day- Seminar by the B.Sc 4th year students on the topic of “Imporatnce of feeding to the newborn” was conducted under the guidance of Mrs Gagandeep Kaur and Mrs Manpriya Kaur .The students explained the feeding practices and importance of exclusive breast feeding.
Nurses week celebrated in Government college of Nursing ,Patiala from 6 May-14May 2024 under the guidance of Dr Balwinder Kaur ,Principal Govt.college of Nursing Patiala.Organisers of the event Amandeep Kaur and Manpriya Kaur,Associate professors planned various activities throughout the week such as seminar,mock drill ,sports competition ,solo dances,reel making and others.On the main day chief guest Dr Rajan Singla,Principal Govt Medical college Patiala ,Guest of Honour Dr H. S REkhi,Medical superintendent Rajindra Hospital patiala felicitated students by giving prizes and certificates.various others special guest Inderjeet Kaur,Nursing Superitendent Rajindra hospital Patiala,Mrs Rajwinder Kaur,Principal Mata Kaushalya ,School of Nursing,Patiala Mr.K.R Verma first aid and CPR trainer were also present in the event.All the faculty members and students participated with full enthusiasm.
