World oral health day celebrated in the month of April in collaboration with civil surgeon office. Mrs Manpriya Kaur ,Associate Professor organized the event under the guidance of Dr Mrs Balwinder Kaur,Professor cum Principal. Oral Health camp was setup by Mrs Manpreet Kaur and Mrs Sarabjeet Kaur, Nursing Faculty. Chief guest of the event was Dr Sunanda Grover ,DDHO, Patiala and Dr Aarti and Dr Savita ,MO (Dental) carried out oral examination of more than 230 nursing students. POETRY COMPETITION WAS HELD in which students from all the classes of B.Sc Nursing and Post basic Nursing participated with enthusiasm.Winners and the participants were awarded with certificates. ROLE PLAY WAS performed by the students of B.Sc Nursing 5th semester. DR Mrs Balwinder kaur motivated the students and instructed them for maintenance of oral hygiene and sharing their knowledge in the community setup.It was a wonderful event.
